We are seeking an experienced Transaction Banking Sales (Mandarin Speaker) to drive transaction banking revenues across Chinese corporate clients. This role will focus heavily on Trade Finance and Working Capital Solutions, partnering closely with Relationship Managers to identify opportunities, originate new business, and deepen existing client relationships.

Job Description

  • Drive Transaction Banking sales activities with a primary focus on Trade Finance and Working Capital Solutions.
  • Originate new business opportunities and expand relationships with corporate and commercial banking clients.
  • Collaborate closely with Relationship Managers, Product Teams, Operations, and Credit stakeholders to deliver client solutions.
  • Conduct client meetings to understand transaction flows, trade cycles, and financing requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver sales pitches, proposals, and solution presentations.
  • Monitor market developments and identify opportunities to enhance clients' trade and working capital strategies.
  • Achieve transaction banking revenue and portfolio growth targets.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Transaction Banking, Trade Finance Sales, Trade Product Management, Corporate Banking, or related areas.
  • Proven track record in client acquisition and revenue generation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international banking environment.
  • Fluent in Mandarin (Chinese) and English.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak Mandarin professionally.
  • Comfortable conducting client meetings, preparing proposals, and handling business correspondence in Mandarin.
  • Experience covering Chinese corporates or China Desk clients will be a strong advantage.
