Job Description

As a System Solution Consultant (Technical Sales), your main responsibilities will include:

  • Own and manage the regional opportunity pipeline, including tracking key performance metrics and leading quarterly business reviews.
  • Drive business growth across Southeast Asia by promoting incremental and recurring software solutions.
  • Lead consulting engagements-such as needs assessments, workshops, benchmarking, and master planning-to identify customer requirements and uncover solution opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Product Management, Proposals, and Estimation) to position the most suitable Honeywell Connected Industrial solutions.
  • Articulate and showcase the value proposition of software offerings through presentations and demonstrations, emphasizing key features, benefits, and competitive differentiation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful applicant should have:

  • Proven hands-on consulting experience in process industries, delivering solution consulting, digital transformation, or operational excellence initiatives
  • Minimum of 4 years' progressive experience in software sales and/or consulting roles
  • Strong domain expertise in at least one key vertical (e.g., Refining, Petrochemicals, Chemicals, Mining, or Power)
  • Industry experience in driving digitization initiatives, including business applications such as process historians, production accounting, asset performance management, alarm management, process simulation, advanced process control, and operator training simulators
  • Solid understanding of both OT and IT landscapes, including DCS, historians, APC, AI/ML, operations management systems, and data platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead customer workshops from the outset
  • Skilled in translating complex business challenges into scalable digital solutions
  • Excellent executive-level communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with plant and senior leadership
  • Proven track record of working across regional customer environments, with a strong understanding of market dynamics and competitive landscapes
