We are currently representing one of our client within the automotive retail industry, who is looking to expand their business in Indonesia.

Job Description

As Site Acquisition Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct market research to identify high-potential locations
  • Analyze demographics, traffic patterns, competitor presence, and customer accessibility
  • Perform feasibility studies including visibility, frontage, size requirements, zoning, and infrastructure readiness
  • Lead negotiations for land purchase, lease agreements, and property development deals
  • Build and maintain relationships with property owners, developers, brokers, and landlords
  • Liaise with local authorities and government agencies
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and corporate standards
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (network planning, legal, finance, construction, branding)
  • Ensure smooth handover from acquisition to construction/development phase

The Successful Applicant

As Site Acquisition Manager, you should have:

  • Degree in property, business administration, engineering, or related field
  • 8 years of experience in site acquisition, property development, or retail expansion. Experience in automotive retail, or large-format retail is preferred
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to analyse market data and financial reports
  • Proficiency in property laws and regulations
  • A proactive and result-oriented approach to tasks
  • Teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate across departments
  • Fluency in English
