Job Description

As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in advising clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including banking and finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate advisory work.Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising local and international clients on complex corporate transactions and regulatory matters.
  • Leading and managing banking and finance transactions, including financing and lending arrangements.
  • Supporting and executing domestic and cross-border M&A transactions.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transactional documents and commercial agreements.
  • Managing client relationships and serving as a trusted legal advisor.
  • Supervising, mentoring, and developing junior lawyers within the team.
  • Working closely with partners on business development and strategic client initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified lawyer with at least 9 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Strong background in Corporate Law, Banking & Finance, and Mergers & Acquisitions.
  • Experience gained from a reputable law firm, with exposure to sophisticated transactions.
  • Proven ability to manage matters independently and lead transactions from start to finish.
  • Strong commercial acumen and client management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential with a passion for mentoring junior team members.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
