Job Description

As a Sales Manager (HORECA), your main responsibilities will include:

  • Drive sales growth and expand market penetration within the HORECA channel.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with restaurants, hotels, cafés, and food service operators.
  • Focus on growing distribution especially within Chinese restaurants and Western restaurant networks.
  • Identify new business opportunities and manage key accounts strategically.
  • Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, and partnership development with customers.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Sales Manager (HORECA) should have:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience within a food distribution company.
  • Must have experience handling imported F&B products, either from:
    • FMCG principals with imported products, or
    • Importer/distributor companies.
  • Strong existing network within the HORECA industry.
  • Proven experience selling to Chinese restaurants is highly preferred; exposure to Western restaurants is also important.
  • Strong understanding of food service market dynamics and customer behavior.
  • Commercially driven with excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple key accounts effectively.
