Job Description

As a Sales Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

    • Achieve growth objectives and sales targets through effective leadership and management of the sales team.
    • Develop and execute strategic business plans to expand the customer base and strengthen market presence.
    • Monitor market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities.
    • Manage direct and indirect sales channels and establish sales priorities by customer, product, and territory.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and key stakeholders.
    • Drive key account management initiatives and support distributors in strategic industries.
    • Lead major commercial and technical projects, including contract negotiations and project closures.
    • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, sales reports, revenue projections, and pipeline reviews for management.
    • Ensure compliance with company sales policies, contract management, and credit collection processes.
    • Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Sales Manager should have:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
    • Minimum 5 years of successful experience in direct sales, account management, or business development within the Drive & Control Technology industry.
    • Strong leadership, people management, coaching, and team development capabilities.
    • Ability to analyze sales data, financial metrics, and market trends to drive business decisions.
    • Advanced proficiency in CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and SAP.
    • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Established network within industries such as Mining, Power, Paper, Food & Beverage, Palm Oil, Ports, and Material Handling.
    • High level of integrity with a strong commitment to compliance and business ethics.
