Job Description

As an Sales Manager - Footwear, your main responsibilities will include:

    • Develop and execute sales and business development strategies for the footwear segment
    • Identify and secure new customers (footwear manufacturers, OEMs, Tier 1 & Tier 2 suppliers)
    • Manage and grow key accounts, including multinational brands and local manufacturers
    • Act as a technical-commercial advisor, translating customer needs into material solutions
    • Collaborate with global principals/suppliers on product positioning and market expansion
    • Support customers in product development and application trials
    • Monitor industry trends (e.g., sustainability, innovation in materials)
    • Deliver against sales targets, margins, and KPIs



The Successful Applicant

  • - Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Business
  • - Minimum 5-8 years of experience in:
    • Footwear manufacturing
    • Specialty chemicals / material distribution
    • Adhesives, polymers, or PU systems
  • - Strong understanding of footwear production processes (Nike, Adidas, NB supply chain exposure is a plus)
  • - Proven experience in business development / hunting role
  • - Ability to manage technical and consultative selling
  • - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • - Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia
