Job Description

  • Lead product engineering activities to improve manufacturing yield, reliability, and product performance.
  • Drive electrical test optimization, product characterization, and yield enhancement programs.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to support new product introduction and production ramp-up.
  • Manage technology transfer projects and ensure smooth transition from development to volume manufacturing.
  • Establish robust quality control processes and testing strategies to ensure product reliability and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead investigations into product performance issues, defect analysis, and corrective action initiatives.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects across product and manufacturing processes.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers and specialists.
  • Support risk assessment and engineering change management activities.
  • Drive productivity enhancement programs focused on cost, quality, throughput, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop team capabilities through coaching, training, and succession planning.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, health, and safety standards.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, Semiconductor Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years of semiconductor product engineering, test engineering, or relevant manufacturing experience.
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing engineering teams.
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, testing methodologies, and product qualification.
  • Experience leading new product introduction (NPI) and production ramp-up activities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilities.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience utilizing statistical data analysis techniques.
  • Ability to manage complex cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated success in driving yield, quality, reliability, and productivity improvements.
