We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end procurement activities across manufacturing operations, ensuring supply continuity and strong supplier performance. This role will oversee strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, inventory support, and a sizable procurement team while collaborating closely with stakeholders across the business.

Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end procurement and sourcing activities.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for direct materials.
  • Manage supplier relationships across local and international markets.
  • Lead commercial negotiations to achieve optimal pricing, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Ensure critical suppliers prioritize business requirements during supply constraints.
  • Work closely with Production Planning, Operations, R&D, and other stakeholders to align procurement strategies.
  • Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage procurement risks, inventory availability, and supply continuity.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a procurement team.
  • Support procurement projects related to manufacturing operations, product development, and process improvements.
  • Drive procurement analytics and market intelligence activities to support decision-making.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • Proven procurement leadership experience within manufacturing environments.
  • Exposure to machine, equipment, or capital expenditure procurement.
  • Strong experience managing direct material sourcing and supplier relationships.
  • Experience handling international procurement activities, particularly imports.
  • Demonstrated success in supplier negotiations and strategic sourcing.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience leading and developing teams.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Mandarin proficiency or willingness and capability to learn Mandarin quickly is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
