**3. Key Responsibilities:** As a National Sales Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Own full regional business performance, covering both new equipment sales and aftermarket services.
  • Drive business development initiatives to acquire new customers through direct and indirect channels, with focus on industrial sectors such as mining, metals, chemicals, and power generation.
  • Collaborate closely with EPC contractors and engineering/FEED companies to ensure early project engagement, while maintaining strong relationships with financing partners.
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing customers, ensuring consistent support and satisfaction across the region.
  • Strengthen market presence through active participation in industry events, conferences, and trade exhibitions, in coordination with global and regional stakeholders.
  • Oversee the preparation of technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Lead negotiations for technical and commercial proposals with both direct clients and business partners.
  • Ensure high accuracy in sales forecasting and coordinate closely with headquarters on order fulfillment and delivery timelines.

The Successful Applicant

**4. The Successful Candidate:** A successful National Sales Manager should have:

  • Strong knowledge of the gas energy sector
  • Proven strong network with PLN and Pertamina
  • Educational background in mechanical, industrial, electrical engineering, or related disciplines
  • Deep understanding of industrial clients across sectors such as mining & metals, chemicals, power generation, and biogas
  • Proven track record in sales and/or project management within industrial environments, ideally in engine or heavy equipment businesses
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and drive growth opportunities
  • Fluent English communication (written and verbal)
  • Confident and professional presence, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives
  • Ability to respond effectively to customer needs while building and maintaining long-term relationships
  • Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset with strong cross-cultural awareness when working with internal and external stakeholders
