Job Description

As a Key Account Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Drive business strategy to meet sales targets while expanding existing markets and identifying new opportunities with key customers
  • Build and sustain strong customer relationships
  • Support marketing and business development initiatives aligned with the segment and regional growth strategy
  • Analyze market dynamics, gather insights, and leverage findings to support growth plans
  • Deliver annual sales revenue of EUR 2-3 million or higher, in line with target margins



Key tasks:

  • Achieve budget targets for revenue, profitability, and overdue accounts
  • Directly manage selected key accounts
  • Develop and support distributors to meet their performance targets
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts on an annual, quarterly, and monthly basis
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive revenue growth in targeted segments
  • Utilize CRM systems effectively for sales management and reporting
  • Build strong, lasting customer relationships while ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales cycle
  • Conduct regular reviews on sales, collections, inventory, and business development within the assigned region
  • Apply a structured, customer-centric approach in all business activities

The Successful Applicant

A successful applicants should have:

  • A solid background in sales, preferably within the protective coating selling to energy or infrastructure clients (B2B).
  • Currently based in/willing to relocate to Batam, Indonesia.
  • Candidates from the chemical manufacturing sector are encouraged to apply, particularly those with experience selling into the energy and infrastructure industries.
  • Strong account management skills with a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • A good understanding of market trends and customer needs within the industry.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • A results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
