Job Description

As a Key Account Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers and strategic accounts.
  • Drive sustainable sales growth while achieving revenue and profitability targets.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned accounts and target customers.
  • Execute business development initiatives by leveraging the company's broad portfolio of products and services.
  • Collaborate closely with technical, marketing, customer service, and sales support teams to deliver value-added customer solutions.
  • Lead customer projects and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Prepare annual budgets, sales forecasts, and business plans to support company objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, customer developments, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Provide regular business updates, reports, and market insights to management.
  • Ensure seamless end-to-end customer experience and support commercial excellence initiatives.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Key Account Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science & Technology, Engineering, Business, Economics, or related disciplines.
  • Food Science & Technology background is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of B2B sales experience within the Food & Beverage industry.
  • Strong preference for candidates from: Food Ingredients companies, Flavor businesses, Natural color or specialty ingredient manufacturers
  • Demonstrated success in key account management and business development.
  • Strong understanding of Food & Beverage ingredients and application solutions.
  • Established network with major Food & Beverage manufacturers in Indonesia.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
