We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of Sales to lead our Indonesia business. This role will be responsible for driving overall sales performance, shaping the go-to-market (GTM) strategy, and ensuring strong cross-functional collaboration with operations and supply chain teams. The ideal candidate combines strong B2B project sales expertise with an operational understanding, enabling effective delivery in a project-based business environment.

Job Description

  • Define and execute Indonesia's sales strategy and GTM approach
  • Drive revenue growth across key industries, especially:
    • Mining
    • Data Centers
  • Lead the organization in navigating project-based sales cycles
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand key accounts in B2B segments
  • Work closely with Operations and Supply Chain teams to ensure:
    • Project execution alignment
    • Material availability (especially in challenging raw material conditions)
    • Timely delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Bring a commercial-operational balance in decision-making
  • Lead, coach, and inspire the sales team to achieve targets
  • Maintain strong team morale and engagement
  • Provide clear direction, structure, and mentorship
  • Build a high-performance, customer-focused sales culture
  • Act as a key interface between Indonesia and regional leadership
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders effectively
  • Represent the company in key customer engagements and negotiations

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 15-20 years ofB2B sales experience, preferably in:
    • Mining
    • Data Centers
    • Industrial solutions / piping / infrastructure-related sectors
  • Balanced experience commercial and operational mindset (critical)
  • Proven experience managing project-based business models (critical)
  • Experience leading sales teams at a national level (Indonesia exposure is essential)
  • Background in direct sales (non-channel-focused)
  • Strong strategic thinking with execution capability
  • Proven ability to collaborate across functions (sales, operations, supply chain)
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to:
    • Guide and mentor teams
    • Maintain morale during challenging conditions
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience in mining and/or data center segments (highly preferred)
  • Oil & Gas exposure is a plus, but not the primary focus
  • Familiarity with industrial project environments and long sales cycles
