Job Description

As a Head of QA/QC, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Managing laboratory operations, including testing and analysis procedures.
  • Developing and implementing quality control systems and protocols.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain product quality.
  • Monitoring and reporting on quality metrics and performance indicators.
  • Ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory requirements in all laboratory activities.
  • Providing guidance and training to the QA/QC team.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives for quality and efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of QA/QC will have :

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years' QA/QC experience in manufacturing, including 5 years in leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 22000/FSSC 22000, HACCP, and GMP.
  • Experience managing QA/QC laboratories and product testing activities.
  • Proven track record in quality system implementation and continuous improvement.
  • Experienced in internal, supplier, and certification audits.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
