Head of Procurement is required to oversee direct and indirect sourcing in Indonesia while managing the SEA Indirect portfolio. This position reports to the regional lead and emphasizes collaboration with Supply Chain and business teams to align procurement strategies and drive value.

Job Description

  • Formulate and implement strategic sourcing initiatives in alignment with business objectives and global procurement standards.
  • Supervise procurement operations and cost-reduction programs for both direct and indirect categories within the Indonesian and Southeast Asian markets.
  • Conduct contract negotiations to ensure optimal value, quality, and service are secured from suppliers.
  • Manage the complete supplier lifecycle, from selection and performance evaluation to fostering continuous improvement.
  • Direct and mentor the procurement team, providing guidance, feedback, and support for professional development.
  • Uphold compliance with all procurement policies and collaborate with regional and global counterparts to track performance and share best practices.

The Successful Applicant

  • 6+ years of professional experience in purchasing, supply chain, or sourcing, ideally within an international corporation.
  • Skilled in negotiation, contract oversight, and vendor relationship management.
  • Experience handling procurement for both direct and indirect categories.
  • A proven ability to lead and mentor teams, with a history of coaching and developing team members.
  • Comprehensive understanding of procurement policies, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience operating within the Indonesian market, with a good grasp of the local supplier ecosystem.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
