Our client is an established FMCG company with strong brand presence in Indonesia currently looking for Head of Modern Trade to lead and strategize end-to-end modern trade sales & operations of the company

Job Description

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies tailored to modern trade channels.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Oversee and develop a high-performing & established MT team by driving performance management, sales excellence, budget control, negotiation effectiveness, compliance, and continuous capability building to ensure long-term channel competitiveness.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in achieving business objectives.
  • Managing budgets and ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximise profitability.
  • Analysing sales data to track performance and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing the sales team to achieve set targets.



The Successful Applicant

  • Proven expertise in Modern Trade and Key Account Management with 10+ years of experience, including strategic sales planning, commercial negotiations, category and portfolio management, trade investment optimization, forecasting, and P&L ownership.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities, with a track record of leading large teams.
  • Data driven & detailed approach/thought process in managing overall key accounts & MT operation
