Job Description

Commercial & Business Development

  • Develop and execute country-level business strategies to achieve sales growth and profitability targets
  • Lead commercial activities across heavy equipment, off-the-road (OTR), and agricultural tyre segments
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, OEMs, dealers, key accounts, and end-users
  • Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and expansion strategies within the territory
  • Monitor competitor activities and recommend strategic actions to strengthen market positioning
  • Drive pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and overall sales performance



Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day business operations to ensure efficiency and operational excellence
  • Coordinate closely with supply chain, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely product availability and delivery
  • Ensure effective inventory planning and stock management aligned with market demand
  • Support process improvements and operational optimization initiatives



Financial Oversight

  • Manage country budget, forecasting, and P&L performance
  • Monitor financial performance and ensure achievement of revenue, margin, and cost objectives
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls, and local regulations
  • Provide regular business reports, sales analysis, and market insights to regional leadership



Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the local team to drive high performance and engagement
  • Foster a strong commercial culture focused on accountability, customer satisfaction, and growth
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with regional and global stakeholders

The Successful Applicant

A successful Country Manager should have:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Management, or related field
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in tyre, heavy equipment, automotive, or industrial sectors
    • Strong exposure to agricultural tyres, OTR tyres, or commercial tyre businesses
    • Proven track record in sales leadership and country/business management
    • Strong understanding of distribution networks and commercial operations
    • Experience managing budgets, financial planning, and operational activities
    • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
    • Willingness to travel as required
