Job Description

  • Draft, review, and implement HR policies-- monitoring changes in labor legislation and advise management on necessary adjustment.
  • Act as coordinator for time management control related to monthly payroll calculations, including but not limited to overtime, annual leave, sick leave, and all matters concerning employee attendance.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws (including acting as the liaison with the Ministry of Manpower), regulations, and company policies.
  • Advise management on industrial relations strategies to prevent conflicts and foster a positive work environment.
  • Plan and conduct internal training sessions focused on simple, practical topics to improve employee productivity.
  • Coordinate with the EHS team to organize internal awareness and training programs that promote productivity and workplace safety.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and encourage continuous improvement through feedback and follow up.
  • Handle the recruitment process, including candidate screening, interviewing and onboarding to ensure the right talent is hired and integrated effectively.

The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Manager should have:

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven knowledge of HR practices and employment laws in Indonesia.
  • Experience in the industrial/manufacturing industry.
  • Strong analytical skills for HR data and metrics interpretation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
