Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Business Growth

  • Define and execute the long-term vision, strategy, and growth roadmap for the DM&A business unit, aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Identify and develop new revenue streams, strategic partnerships, and market opportunities across data management, analytics, cloud, and AI-driven solutions.
  • Lead go-to-market strategies, service portfolio development, and value propositions for enterprise and multinational clients.
  • Represent the DM&A practice in executive leadership forums and contribute to firm-wide strategic initiatives.



Client Engagement & Delivery Excellence

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders, shaping data and analytics strategies that address complex business challenges.
  • Oversee the successful delivery of large, complex data transformation programs while ensuring quality, governance, and client satisfaction.
  • Lead executive-level proposals, presentations, and pursuits to win high-impact engagements.
  • Ensure adoption of industry best practices, frameworks, and leading technologies across all client engagements.



Team Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing organization of 30+ professionals, including consultants, data engineers, analysts, and solution architects.
  • Build robust talent development, certification, and succession plans to support long-term capability growth.
  • Drive a performance-oriented culture grounded in collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.



Innovation & Thought Leadership

  • Stay at the forefront of emerging trends in data management, analytics, AI, and digital transformation.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and intellectual capital development within the practice.
  • Act as an external ambassador and thought leader at industry events, conferences, and executive forums.



Operational Excellence & Governance

  • Own the financial performance of the business unit, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability.
  • Establish and track KPIs related to revenue growth, delivery performance, and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with internal governance, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

The Successful Applicant

Candidate ProfileExperience & Background

  • 15-20 years of professional experience in IT consulting, digital transformation, or technology services, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role focused on data, analytics, or information management.
  • Demonstrated success managing large consulting teams (30+ professionals) and delivering enterprise-scale data initiatives.
  • Strong track record in business development, executive stakeholder management, and P&L ownership.
  • Experience working with multinational clients; exposure to automotive, financial services, or manufacturing sectors is highly desirable.



Technical & Professional Expertise

  • Deep understanding of data platforms, data governance, analytics solutions, and cloud technologies.
  • Familiarity with industry-leading methodologies and best practices in data management and analytics.
  • Certifications such as CDMP, PMP, or equivalent are highly advantageous.



Education & Language

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Fluency in English is required; Japanese language skills are a strong plus.
