About Our Client

Our Client is a global technology company offering solutions to the Banking and Financial Services sector with strong regional backing and an expanding enterprise footprint, the company is investing heavily in Indonesia to accelerate growth within tier-1, tier-2, and digital banking segments.As part of its commercial expansion, the company is seeking a high-performing Business Development Director to lead strategic revenue growth and drive new logo acquisition within the Indonesian banking market.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing opportunities with banks and financial institutions across Indonesia. The role requires strong consultative selling capabilities, executive stakeholder management, and the ability to navigate complex enterprise sales cycles involving technology, compliance, operations, and risk functions.Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business acquisition and revenue growth across banking and financial services accounts in Indonesia
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting enterprise and digital banks
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level stakeholders including CIOs, CTOs, Chief Digital Officers, Risk Heads, and Operations leaders
  • Lead complex consultative sales cycles from prospecting through negotiation and deal closure
  • Identify market opportunities and position the company's technology solutions competitively
  • Collaborate closely with pre-sales, product, delivery, and regional leadership teams
  • Manage strategic partnerships and ecosystem relationships where relevant
  • Maintain strong market intelligence on banking technology trends, regulatory developments, and competitive activity
  • Deliver accurate forecasting and pipeline management to regional leadership



The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate brings experience selling solutions such as:

  • Core banking platforms
  • Fraud prevention & risk solutions
  • Digital banking platforms
  • Payment solutions
  • Identity & authentication technologies
  • AML/KYC solutions
  • SaaS / enterprise software
  • Data & analytics platforms
  • Cybersecurity or regulatory technology solutions



Requirements:

  • 10+ years of enterprise technology sales or business development experience
  • Proven experience selling technology solutions directly to banks in Indonesia
  • Strong network across traditional banks, digital banks, and financial institutions
  • Demonstrated success achieving and exceeding revenue targets
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles
  • Strong understanding of banking technology ecosystems and regulatory environments
  • Excellent executive communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Entrepreneurial, highly driven, and commercially "hunter" mindset
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred



Preferred Background:

  • Experience from fintech, enterprise software, cybersecurity, payments, fraud prevention, or banking technology companies
  • Exposure to regional or multinational technology environments
  • Experience handling strategic/key enterprise accounts
