  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Developing and executing strategic account plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Identifying customer needs and providing tailored solutions in a timely manner.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Preparing regular reports on account status and sales performance.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for customer inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures during all interactions.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience in account management, especially dealing with industrial gearboxes products.
  • A strong understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management.
  • Network with mining, sugar mills, marine and also pulp and paper businesses.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in analysing sales data and generating actionable insights.
  • A results-driven approach with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Relevant educational qualifications in business, marketing, or a related field.
