“ PageGroup provides a very good platform for every consultant to achieve their dream.”

Why did you join PageGroup?

When I first met my colleague Aaran, he introduced me to PageGroup as a brand and it coincided with what I was looking for in my career – honing my sales skills, expanding my networks (having access to senior people in the market) and monetary rewards.

Can you tell us about your PageGroup journey so far?

Being quite a sales person myself, in my mind, sales was all about talking one way, which is my way. With four offers being turned down, I almost quitted, thinking that this job probably doesn’t really suit me well. I knew that I had to adapt and I gave it another shot and learnt one very crucial skillset along the way – listening. In my second quarter, I was able to get my first decent bonus and the rest was history.

What are your career aspirations with PageGroup?

My long-term plan is to be able to lead and run Indonesia’s Profit & Loss. I think that PageGroup provides a very good platform for every consultant to achieve their dream. Hence the reason why they have invested quite a bit on Learning & Development and we are empowered by our Managing Director with additional headcounts and responsibilities to achieve that goal.

Do you have any advice to anybody thinking about joining PageGroup?

If you have a fighter mentality, are young and have the appetite to succeed early in your career, join PageGroup. But beware, this job is not for the faint hearted!

What is most rewarding about your job?

The most rewarding aspect of this job is to see people that I hire gradually get promoted and be successful in the business. I strongly feel that it is such a crucial aspect of being a leader in PageGroup as it gives me a certain satisfaction that cannot be measured by monetary values.
