Job Description

As a Territory Sales Manager (Anesthesia), your main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute territory sales strategies to achieve revenue and market-share objectives across the anesthesia product portfolio.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with anaesthesiologists, operating theatre teams, procurement stakeholders, and key hospital decision-makers.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive product adoption within public and private healthcare institutions.
  • Deliver clinical product presentations, product evaluations, and in-service training to healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with distributors and internal cross-functional teams to optimise customer engagement and sales performance.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, tender opportunities, and customer requirements to develop effective commercial strategies.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline visibility, and business reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sales practices.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Territory Sales Manager (Anesthesia) should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Proven medical device sales experience, preferably within anesthesia, critical care, operating theatre, respiratory, or hospital-based specialties.
  • Strong understanding of hospital procurement processes, tender management, and clinical selling methodologies.
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders.
  • Commercially driven with strong analytical, negotiation, and territory management capabilities.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable working in a dynamic, performance-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
