Job Description

  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with banks, financial institutions, regulators, and strategic ecosystem partners across Southeast Asia.
  • Identify, originate, and secure new business opportunities that align with the company's regional growth strategy.
  • Develop and execute partnership strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Manage the full business development lifecycle from prospecting and relationship building through negotiation and deal closure.
  • Maintain a disciplined and data-driven sales approach, including pipeline management, opportunity prioritization, and KPI tracking.
  • Collaborate closely with regional leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure successful partnership implementation and long-term client success.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and executive forums.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior decision-makers, identifying new business opportunities, building a robust pipeline, and converting strategic conversations into sustainable commercial partnerships.

The Successful Applicant

  • Extensive experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or commercial leadership roles within banking, financial services, fintech, or related sectors.
  • Proven track record of winning and growing enterprise clients across Southeast Asia.
  • Strong network of relationships with banks, financial institutions, and senior industry stakeholders within the region.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to establish trust and credibility quickly.
  • Demonstrated success engaging and influencing C-suite executives and senior decision-makers.
  • Highly organized, self-disciplined, and structured in managing business development activities and sales pipelines.
  • Comfortable operating with activity-based KPIs, pipeline metrics, conversion targets, and revenue goals.
  • Willingness to travel regionally as required.
