The Store Expansion Supervisor will support the company's nationwide offline expansion by coordinating site selection, store development, and new store opening execution. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, this role ensures each store is delivered on time, on brand, and operationally ready. The position is hands‑on, field‑oriented, and suited for candidates who value execution, structure, and visible business impact.

An established international lifestyle retail company is expanding its physical retail presence across Indonesia's key cities and emerging commercial hubs.

Job Description

  • Identify, survey, and evaluate potential locations for new stores and pop‑ups across malls and commercial areas in Indonesia
  • Conduct basic feasibility studies including footfall analysis, visibility, surrounding competition, and target market alignment
  • Support lease discussions and coordination with landlords, mall management, and property partners
  • Coordinate end‑to‑end store opening activities, including project timelines, documentation, and readiness checklists
  • Liaise with contractors, vendors, and suppliers for store fit‑out, fixtures, signage, and utilities
  • Ensure store setup complies with brand standards, operational requirements, and local regulations
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Operations, Visual Merchandising, Logistics, HR, and Marketing to ensure smooth store launches
  • Track expansion progress, identify risks or delays, and provide regular updates to management
  • Support post‑opening evaluations and contribute to continuous improvement of expansion processes and SOPs

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Real Estate, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in retail expansion, store development, project coordination, or property‑related roles
  • Experience supporting store openings in fashion, lifestyle, F&B, or consumer retail is a strong advantage
  • Strong coordination, communication, and organizational skills
  • Detail‑oriented, hands‑on, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Willing to travel frequently across different regions in Indonesia
  • Fluent in working English proficiency preferred
