Job Description

  • Scope, manage, and execute Sensory Insights projects to deliver the annual learning agenda, balancing proactive and reactive initiatives
  • Synthesize data from multiple sources to derive stronger, holistic insights
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver insight-driven business solutions
  • Lead and promote foresight and trend programs across segments
  • Manage relationships with external agencies to build sustainable value-adding partnerships.
  • Generate and share insights in ways that drive tangible business actions
  • Apply creativity, practicality, and timeliness in insight deployment
  • Strengthen customer relationships by representing Sensory Insights expertise with key clients
  • Conduct meta-analyses and consolidate knowledge to support strategic development
  • Connect proactively with regional peers to encourage cross-learning and knowledge sharing
  • Ensure appropriate use of the full range of Sensory Insights techniques across projects
  • Identify, develop, and embed new Sensory Insights capabilities
  • Lead Sensory Insights capability-building initiatives such as Sense It®, systems, and new methodologies
  • Play a key role in managing and disseminating Sensory Insights knowledge across the business
  • Support and deliver Sensory Insights training to strengthen insights capabilities
  • Lead and guide junior Sensory Insights associates to deliver on the Sensory Insights agenda
  • Conduct performance reviews and development planning
  • Supervise junior associates in sensory lab and panel management activities, including budgeting, contracts, performance monitoring, and team building

The Successful Applicant

  • Advanced degree in Business Administration, Market Research, Food Science, Chemistry, Food Engineering, or related field, and/or 8-10 years of relevant functional and leadership experience (Flavour House, FMCG, etc.)
  • Minimum 2-3 years of people management experience
  • Experience with a wide range of Consumer Sensory and Consumer Insight methodologies
  • Customer-side experience in Sensory Insights is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills in English and the local language
  • Strong ability to advocate for the consumer's voice within the business
