Job Description

As a Senior Manager - Tooling & Molding, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Lead tooling activities across the engineering team to support planned production requirements.
  • Develop tooling plans that align with product specifications, production needs and delivery schedules.
  • Oversee the design, development and readiness of tools used in manufacturing processes.
  • Work with engineering and manufacturing colleagues to resolve tooling issues and reduce production disruption.
  • Review tooling performance and identify practical improvements to quality, reliability and output.
  • Manage tooling maintenance plans to keep equipment available and fit for purpose.
  • Coordinate with relevant suppliers on tooling requirements, progress and technical specifications.
  • Maintain clear records of tooling status, costs, changes and delivery timelines.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Manager - Tooling & Molding should have:

  • Strong experience managing tooling activities.
  • Practical knowledge of tooling design, development, maintenance and performance review.
  • Ability to plan tooling work against product and production requirements.
  • Experience resolving tooling-related issues that affect manufacturing output.
  • Capability to manage technical specifications, timelines and supplier coordination.
  • Sound understanding of manufacturing processes and product quality requirements.
