Job Description

As a Senior Finance Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing financial reporting and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Developing and managing budgets to support business objectives in the retail industry.
  • Providing strategic financial insights to senior management for decision-making.
  • Monitoring and improving internal controls and accounting processes.
  • Leading and mentoring the finance team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Managing relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Conducting financial analysis to identify opportunities for cost optimisation.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate financial data for reporting purposes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Finance Manager should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA, CA, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Big 4 Public Accounting Firm is a must
  • Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in team leadership and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with financial systems and software.
  • A background in the retail industry is an advantage.
