About Our Client

We are currently representing one of our client in the Data Center industry who is looking to expand their team.

Job Description

As a BMS Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the Building Management System (BMS) and supervisory control systems
  • Ensure continuous monitoring of critical infrastructure systems including:
    • Chillers and cooling systems
    • CRAC/CRAH units
    • Electrical systems
    • UPS systems
    • Generators
    • Fuel systems
    • Fire alarm and fire suppression systems
    • Environmental monitoring systems
  • Develop and maintain alarm management strategies to ensure timely response to critical events
  • Review and analyze BMS trends, logs, and system performance data
  • Support data center operational objectives by maintaining 24/7 monitoring capability and reducing operational risks
  • Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs for BMS infrastructure
  • Lead BMS expansion, upgrade, migration, and integration projects
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, client requirements, and industry best practices

The Successful Applicant

A successful BMS Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Building Management Systems, Facilities Management, Critical Facilities, or Data Center Operations. With at least 5 years in a managerial position
  • Experience working in mission-critical environments such as Data Centers, Telecommunications Facilities, Healthcare Facilities, Industrial Plants, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of BMS platforms, HVAC controls and automation, PLC and SCADA systems, Electrical and mechanical systems within critical facilities, Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM), and Energy Management Systems
  • Fluency in English
