A leading global specialty lubricants organization is seeking an experienced Sales Director for Indonesia. This is a senior commercial and technical leadership role responsible for driving growth, strengthening market presence, and building the future organization setup in Indonesia.

Job Description

  • Develop long‑term growth strategies aligned with regional priorities.
  • Identify opportunities in core industrial segments (steel, cement, F&B, manufacturing, heavy industry).
  • Strengthen market positioning through value‑selling and technical, consultative engagement.
  • Deliver quarterly performance updates, forecasts, and structured action plans.
  • Build and manage high‑performing distributor networks across sales, service, and technical support.
  • Develop strong relationships with key customers, OEMs, industry bodies, and regulators.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate standards in all distributor agreements and market activities.
  • Drive initiatives in product innovation, sustainability, and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee sales performance, profitability, and national market expansion targets.
  • Ensure operational compliance and prepare for future legal entity establishment in Indonesia.
  • Coach and mentor internal teams and distributor sales teams to cultivate a high‑performance culture.



The Successful Applicant

  • Strong experience in the lubrication industry (non-negotiable).
  • Deep knowledge of specialty lubricants, industrial applications, and value‑based technical selling.
  • Mechanical Engineering degree or strong technical foundation is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with industries such as steel, cement, food, or other heavy manufacturing sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability in consultative, technical, and solution‑based selling.
  • Senior leadership experience, ideally with 15+ years in sales/technical commercial roles.
  • Ability to work in a lean, hands-on environment managing both commercial and technical scopes.
  • Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
