This executive role oversees all project phases-from development through design, construction, commissioning, and final handover-while ensuring strict adherence to cost, schedule, quality, safety, and corporate governance standards.

About Our Client

We are currently representing a leading datacenter company that is undergoing rapid expansion across the region. To support this growth, they are seeking to strengthen their team with the appointment of experienced Project Director to lead their large-scale hyperscale data center developments in Indonesia

Job Description

  • Lead the full lifecycle delivery of hyperscale data center developments projects
  • Define and implement project execution strategies, governance structures, and delivery models (e.g., EPC, PMC, hybrid)
  • Ensure full alignment with hyperscaler technical standards, performance criteria, and service-level obligations
  • Serve as the senior point of contact for hyperscale customers throughout the project lifecycle
  • Keeping relationships with regulators, local authorities, utilities, joint venture partners, and external stakeholders
  • Hold overall accountability for project financial performance, including CAPEX planning, forecasting, and cost control
  • Lead procurement strategies, contract structuring, and high-value commercial negotiations
  • Oversee all design activities to ensure compliance with global data center standards (e.g., Tier III/IV, Uptime Institute)
  • Ensure effective integration of civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical systems suitable for hyperscale operations
  • Ensure full compliance with Indonesian regulatory requirements, permitting processes, and environmental standards
  • Lead integrated systems testing (IST), commissioning, and readiness activities
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing, multi-disciplinary project delivery organization



The Successful Applicant

  • 15+ years of experience delivering complex, large-scale infrastructure or mission-critical facilities.
  • Proven track record in hyperscale or large data center project delivery
  • Deep understanding of data center MEP systems, design principles, and construction methodologies
  • Strong contract management, negotiation, and commercial decision-making skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred)
  • Fluency in English
