Job Description

  • Overseeing the end-to-end supply chain operations end-to-end procurement activities across operational and project-related spend categories.
  • Manage and develop a team of procurement professionals, ensuring alignment with business objectives and performance targets.
  • Drive sourcing strategies that support cost optimization, supplier performance, and business continuity.
  • Oversee procurement activities related to engineering services, capital projects, plant equipment, machinery, construction works, and automation initiatives.
  • Lead tendering and contract management activities while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and governance standards.
  • Monitor market developments, pricing trends, and key cost drivers to support informed purchasing decisions.
  • Strengthen supplier relationships and evaluate vendor performance to ensure reliability and competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, finance, and other internal stakeholders to support business requirements.
  • Enhance procurement reporting, analytics, and dashboard utilization to improve visibility and decision-making.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across procurement processes and organizational capabilities.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of procurement experience within manufacturing, industrial processing, food production, agribusiness, or related sectors.
  • Proven leadership experience managing procurement teams and driving performance improvements.
  • Strong background in engineering procurement, project procurement, CAPEX sourcing, or industrial purchasing environments.
  • Experience managing supplier negotiations, tender processes, and contract administration.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate market trends, cost drivers, and sourcing opportunities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions and regions.
  • Comfortable working within a multinational or regional reporting structure.
  • Fluent English communication skills are essential; additional language capabilities would be advantageous.
