Job Description

  • Manage end-to-end procurement activities to support business requirements and supply continuity.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to clarify purchasing needs, specifications and delivery priorities.
  • Source suitable suppliers and obtain quotations to support informed purchasing decisions.
  • Lead supplier discussions on pricing, delivery schedules and purchasing terms.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring details are accurate and complete.
  • Monitor order progress and follow up with suppliers to support on-time delivery.
  • Maintain clear procurement records, supplier information and purchasing documentation.
  • Identify practical ways to improve purchasing processes and supplier performance.

The Successful Applicant

  • Practical experience managing procurement activities from sourcing through to order follow-up.
  • Knowledge of supplier sourcing, quotation review and commercial discussions.
  • Ability to prepare accurate purchase orders and maintain procurement documentation.
  • Experience coordinating purchasing requirements with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Ability to monitor deliveries and address issues that may affect supply schedules.
  • Understanding of purchasing processes within a Procurement & Supply Chain function.
