Job Description

  • Manage the full procurement cycle, from sourcing and vendor selection through purchasing and contract administration.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, quality products, and taylored commercial terms.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while monitoring vendor performance and service delivery.
  • Support project teams by ensuring timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
  • Review and prepare cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and project budgets.
  • Analyze project costs and monitor expenditures against approved budgets.
  • Verify progress claims, supplier invoices, and commercial documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking activities to identify savings opportunities.
  • Prepare RFQs, RFPs, and other tender documentation, including commercial evaluations.
  • Collaborate closely with finance, operations, engineering, and project teams to support project execution.
  • Ensure procurement practices comply with internal policies, contractual obligations, and industry standards.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Quantity Surveying, or Cost Control within construction, infrastructure, or project-based environments.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier negotiations.
  • Experience preparing and reviewing RAB (project cost estimates), BOQ, and project budget calculations.
  • Proven experience handling progress claims, payment verification, and commercial cost analysis.
  • Strong understanding of construction materials, project procurement, and cost management principles.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and procurement-related reporting tools.
  • Effective stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation capabilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
