As Presales Engineer, you will be responsible in driving technical solution design, proposal development, and customer engagement for data center products and services. This role acts as the bridge between sales, engineering, and operations-ensuring solutions are feasible, competitive, and aligned with customer needs. Supporting strategic bids, RFP/RFI responses, and customer workshops.

We are currently representing one of our Data Center client who is expanding their team

Job Description

  • Lead the design and presentation of data center solutions, including colocation, managed services, and facility infrastructure.
  • Conduct technical assessments, site visits, and requirements gathering with customers
  • Drive the end‑to‑end presales process for RFP/RFI responses-solution design, costing, documentation, and presentation
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, operations, product, finance) to develop high-quality solution proposals
  • Act as the primary technical advisor during the sales cycle
  • Stay updated on data center technologies, standards, and industry trends
  • Provide feedback to Product and Engineering teams for solution enhancements

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 5 years experience in presales or data center infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure & equipment
  • Familiarity with power, cooling, and redundancy design calculations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
