This role leads the full Planning & Inventory function for a complex manufacturing operation with high SKU numbers. The position requires a strategic yet hands‑on leader who can optimize inventory, improve planning accuracy, and strengthen coordination across production, purchasing, and commercial teams.

Job Description

  • Lead PPIC operations to ensure accurate planning, material readiness, and smooth production flow.
  • Manage MTO/MTS planning within SAP, balancing demand, capacity, and inventory levels.
  • Oversee inventory strategy, safety stock parameters, and stock accuracy across a large SKU base.
  • Coordinate closely with production, procurement, warehouse, and commercial teams to meet service levels.
  • Resolve material shortages, improve planning data, and drive efficiency in scheduling and execution.
  • Guide and develop the PPIC team to strengthen planning discipline and continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of experience in production planning
  • 4+ years of tenureship in leadership
  • Strong background in manufacturing
  • Experience in hybrid MTO/MTS environments with complex BOM structures
  • Proficient in SAP manufacturing modules
  • Industrial Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Supply chain certifications (CSCP, CSCM) are an advantage
  • Hands‑on, decisive, agile, and strong in stakeholder influence
  • Comfortable managing both strategy and execution with measurable outcomes
