Job Description

As a Plant GM, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing overall plant operations to achieve production targets and quality standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements within the facility.
  • Overseeing the development and optimisation of manufacturing processes and workflows.
  • Managing budgets, resources, and operational costs effectively.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives.
  • Monitoring and improving plant performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to plant staff, fostering a productive work environment.
  • Addressing operational challenges and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Plant GM should have:

  • A strong background in manufacturing within the Pharmaceutical industry.
  • Apothecary Degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in leading plant operations and managing teams effectively.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and safety standards applicable to manufacturing.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • The ability to manage budgets and optimise resources efficiently.
  • A proactive and results-driven approach to operational challenges.
