Job Description

As a License & Regulatory Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the permitting process to ensure all operations comply with local and international regulations.
  • Liaising with regulatory bodies and stakeholders to maintain smooth communication and compliance.
  • Conducting risk assessments related to regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Preparing and submitting applications for permits, licenses, and other regulatory documents.
  • Monitoring changes in laws and regulations within the energy and natural resources sector.
  • Providing guidance to internal teams on regulatory compliance matters.
  • Supporting audits and inspections by regulatory authorities.
  • Maintaining accurate records of permits and compliance activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful License & Regulatory Manager should have:

  • +8 years of relevant experience with a degree in Law, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of regulations within the energy and natural resources sector.
  • Experience in managing permits and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in legal and regulatory documentation processes.
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
