The ideal candidate is a senior industry leader with extensive experience in the multi‑finance sector, deep familiarity with OJK, and a strong track record of advising or leading regulated financial institutions. Prior success in navigating discussions with OJK, particularly on governance and compliance matters, is essential.

Job Description

As a Non-Executive Director (NED), your main responsibilities will include:

  • Provide independent, objective, and strategic oversight to the Board and executive leadership team.
  • Advise on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management in alignment with OJK standards.
  • Contribute insights and recommendations on the company's financial performance, lending portfolio, operational resilience, and long‑term strategic direction.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Board Chair and CEO on market trends, regulatory shifts, and industry developments in the multi‑finance sector.
  • Participate actively in Board committees (e.g., Risk, Audit, Nomination & Remuneration), providing depth of expertise and constructive challenge.
  • Ensure the company's policies, practices, and strategy uphold the highest standards of integrity, responsibility, and accountability.
  • Support the Board in maintaining strong regulatory relationships and ensuring timely, high‑quality compliance submissions to OJK.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Non-Executive Director (NED) should have:

  • Indonesian citizen (mandatory per local governance and regulatory requirements).
  • Minimum 15-20 years of senior leadership experience in the multi‑finance industry (e.g., CEO, CFO, COO, CRO, Director, or equivalent).
  • Ideally, you have served in leading multi-finance industry, with preference of global brands.
  • Strong and proven experience engaging with OJK on compliance, governance, risk, and strategic matters.
  • Deep understanding of OJK regulations, governance frameworks, and reporting standards within the financial services sector.
  • Demonstrated track record serving on Boards, advisory councils, or senior committees is highly preferred.
  • Candidates who have passed OJK's Fit and Proper Test (FPT) will be prioritized.
  • Outstanding integrity, judgment, and independence of thought.
  • Ability to challenge and support senior executives constructively, with a collaborative leadership style.
