A boutique aviation company operating in the charter services industry is seeking a highly competent and detail‑oriented Legal Counsel to support its expanding operations. This is a newly established, individual‑contributor role designed for a legal professional who is confident in managing both strategic and operational legal responsibilities.

The organization supports sectors such as energy sector, emergency response, aerial survey, and VIP transport, and operates with a strong commitment to safety and operational reliability, supported by rigorous audits and strict maintenance standards.

Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesContract & Document Management

  • Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements including vendor, client, and service contracts.
  • Oversee and enhance the company's standard contract templates, including employment agreements.
  • Support the management of existing long‑term contractual arrangements.



Corporate & Regulatory Affairs

  • Manage renewal of company permits and licenses, in coordination with the Operations team.
  • Assist with ongoing legal matters, including a current PKPU submission related to outstanding receivables.
  • Ensure the company's compliance with applicable regulations and corporate governance requirements.



Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external counsel.
  • Handle operational legal matters with accuracy and a hands‑on approach.
  • Liaise with domestic and international stakeholders professionally and effectively.



Reporting

  • Reporting structure to be confirmed in line with the company's ongoing organizational review.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Law from a reputable university.
  • Minimum of 7 years experience.
  • Willing to work from Bali (relocation can be discussed)
  • Aviation industry experience is mandatory
  • Proven experience in contract drafting and review, preferably within corporate or commercial fields.
  • Ability to work independently as a single contributor.
  • Strong attention to detail, integrity, and sound judgment.
  • Comfortable engaging with foreign and local stakeholders.
  • PERADI qualification is an advantage but not mandatory
