Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage general corporate and legal matters across the group, ensuring proper corporate documentation, filings, approvals, and compliance.
  • Strengthen corporate governance by improving processes, documentation standards, reporting structures, and internal controls.
  • Establish and maintain a structured corporate filing and document management system, ensuring key documents and records are properly maintained and easily accessible.
  • Support the CEO/Owner on corporate matters and provide practical, commercially minded legal advice in a fast-moving environment.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and manage corporate information and reports required by investors, financing partners, and other key stakeholders.
  • Support the monitoring and coordination of obligations, documentation, and reporting requirements arising from financing arrangements.
  • Support corporate expansion initiatives, including new projects, corporate actions, due diligence, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with external legal advisors, consultants, and other professional partners when required.
  • Support the development of governance structures and corporate readiness for the group's future growth, including long-term pre-IPO preparation.
  • Proactively identify legal, governance, and corporate risks and recommend practical solutions without unnecessarily slowing down the business.
  • Take ownership of improving existing processes and identifying areas where stronger structure, documentation, and governance are needed.

The Successful Applicant

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law with approximately 4-7 years of relevant experience in corporate legal, corporate governance, corporate secretary, M&A, financing, or other relevant areas.
  • Strong understanding of general corporate matters, corporate documentation, governance, and regulatory compliance in Indonesia.
  • Experience supporting corporate actions, business expansion, transactions, due diligence, or strategic projects will be highly advantageous.
  • Exposure to financing transactions and dealing with lenders, banks, financing institutions, or other funding partners is a strong plus.
  • Experience preparing, coordinating, or managing reports and information requests for external stakeholders, including investors or financing partners, will be advantageous.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and meticulous, with the ability to build and maintain structured documentation, filing systems, trackers, and processes.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented individual who does not wait for instructions and is comfortable identifying problems and taking ownership of improvements.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving and evolving organisation, with the ability to balance legal requirements with commercial and business priorities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain legal and corporate matters clearly and practically to non-legal stakeholders.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Able to work independently and confidently engage with senior stakeholders, including the CEO/Owner and external advisors.
  • Willing to be based in Cirebon. Housing will be provided for candidates relocating from outside Cirebon.
