Our client is a leading global sports apparel & lifestyle company with a strong brand presence in Indonesia looking for a senior commercial leader to lead the Key Account/Wholesale division & responsible for driving wholesale sales growth strategy, strengthening key account partnerships, and maintaining the company's leadership position within the market.

Job Description

  • Lead the Key Account & Wholesale sales team to deliver sales turnover, margin, and contribution targets while managing sales expenses within agreed budgets.
  • Develop and implement sales development plans, channel strategies, and annual customer plans in line with brand positioning and overall company strategy.
  • Manage customer trading terms, negotiations, and commercial agreements to drive performance-based growth.
  • Strengthen in-store execution, brand visibility, sell-through performance, and consumer experience across wholesale partners.
  • Build, maintain, and expand strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective customer service levels across order processing, route-to-market execution, and order fulfilment.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Brand, and Merchandising teams to ensure timely stock availability, merchandising support, and inventory liquidation plans.
  • Lead business development opportunities to expand market presence and create new revenue streams.
  • Drive the development of digital capabilities within the wholesale channel and improve ways of working with wholesale customers.
  • Ensure effective accounts receivable collection in line with trade terms, DSO targets, and credit management policies.
  • Monitor customer creditworthiness and limit bad debt exposure through effective tracking and control.
  • Provide market insights, competitor updates, and business performance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare realistic business plans, sales forecasts, and mid- to long-term account plans for key accounts and wholesale partners.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in retail management, sales management, account management, or commercial leadership, global retail or FMCG environment is a must.
  • At least 10 years of experience managing sales teams and sales or account management functions.
  • At least 7 years of experience successfully leading, managing, and developing multi-store, multi-channel, B2B, or digital sales teams.
  • Strong experience in wholesale, retail, consumer goods, apparel, sportswear, or lifestyle-related industries would be highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful financial plans, business plans, sales strategies, and customer growth initiatives.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to identify business opportunities, define challenges, and develop practical solutions.
  • Excellent commercial acumen with experience managing sales turnover, margins, contribution, working budgets, AR collection, and customer credit risk.
