Job Description

As an IT Security Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Create and maintain up-to-date information security documents, including policies, procedures, and guidelines to safeguard company data, systems, and networks.
  • Architect secure IT infrastructure across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
  • Implement a robust technical security framework that complies with local regulations and industry standards.
  • Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Support responses to regulatory inquiries and prepare required documentation for external audits and certifications.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to embed security into the planning and implementation of new technologies and systems.
  • Deploy and manage security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and encryption solutions.
  • Monitor security logs and respond swiftly to incidents or breaches.
  • Establish and enforce policies related to personal data protection.
  • Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and track changes that may impact data handling practices.
  • Run ongoing training programs to raise awareness and educate staff on security best practices.

The Successful Applicant

A successful IT Security Manager should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Candidates with certifications in Information security is preferable
  • Experience in implementing information security policies and procedures based on international standards, including but not limited to, ISO, SOC 1 and SOC 2, etc.
  • Proven years of experience in Information security roles is required, including managing or leading information security systems.
  • Proven expertise in IT security frameworks and risk management strategies.
  • Experience with security tools and technologies, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for managing security challenges.
  • Good understanding of industry-specific regulatory requirements in financial services.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
