As HSE Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs across our client's data center project & operations. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, promotes a strong safety culture, minimizes operational risks, and supports sustainability objectives in highly critical, high-availability environments.

About Our Client

We are currently representing one of our client in the Data Center Industry who is looking to expand their team in Indonesia.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive HSE strategy aligned with organizational goals and data center operational requirements
  • Establish long-term safety and environmental performance targets (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Serve as the HSE subject matter expert for executive leadership
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable local, national, and international regulations
  • Lead audits, inspections, and certifications (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc.)
  • Ensure safe operations in critical environments including electrical systems, UPS, generators, cooling infrastructure, and battery systems
  • Identify and assess HSE risks across data center construction, operations, and maintenance activities
  • Lead initiatives for environmental compliance (waste management, emissions, water usage)
  • Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees and contractors
  • Develop and manage emergency response plans (fire, electrical incidents, chemical spills, natural disasters)
  • Collaborate with data center operations, engineering, construction teams, and external vendors

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
  • 15+ years of HSE Experience with at least 5 years in the leadership position
  • Proven experience in data centers or mission-critical facilities environments
  • Strong knowledge of local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Experience conducting risk assessments and incident investigations
  • Excellent communication and training skills to promote a safety-first culture
  • Proficiency in using safety management software and tools
  • A commitment to fostering continuous improvement in HSE practices
