The HR Executive supports the effective delivery of HR services in Indonesia, while being part of a dynamic Southeast Asia (SEA) region by coordinating day-to-day HR operations and providing administrative support. The role oversees key HR processes, including recruitment and onboarding, training administration, employee records management, and compensation and benefits administration, while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a positive employee experience.

Job Description

  • Manage and coordinate HR administration activities across the employee journey, from hiring and onboarding through internal transitions and separation processes.
  • Ensure employee information, documentation, and HR databases are maintained accurately and securely, in line with data privacy standards.
  • Facilitate the consistent application of HR policies, practices, and procedures while supporting compliance with internal standards and local employment regulations.
  • Administer employee benefits and support compensation-related processes, including enrollment, amendments, and employee inquiries.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees, providing guidance on HR programs, leave management, policies, and general employment matters.
  • Generate HR-related documentation, reports, and correspondence to support operational and business requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain HR data accuracy to support reporting needs, audits, and regulatory compliance.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and strengthen the employee experience.
  • Support the execution of regional and global HR initiatives, projects, and transformation activities as required.
  • Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and service providers to ensure smooth and effective HR service delivery.
  • Act as the key liaison for HR operations in Indonesia, coordinating with government agencies, statutory bodies, and external stakeholders when necessary.
  • Assist in ensuring adherence to local labor laws and statutory obligations, including the timely submission of required filings and employee-related documentation.
  • Support internal and external audits by maintaining organized records and providing documentation requested by regulatory authorities.
  • Undertake additional HR projects, responsibilities, and ad hoc assignments as directed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Officer should have:

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in generalist HR function, preferably within lean, matrixed multinational structure.
  • Strong knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
