Job Description

As a Head of Technology, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute IT strategy aligned with organizational goals and stakeholder requirements.
  • Lead IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, application support, and service delivery across multiple healthcare facilities.
  • Partner with executive leadership, medical, nursing, finance, and operational teams to identify business needs and implement technology solutions.
  • Manage annual IT budgets, technology roadmaps, vendor relationships, and procurement governance.
  • Oversee IT asset lifecycle management, server administration, network performance, system availability, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives, including patient engagement platforms, workflow automation, and healthcare system integrations.
  • Lead enhancement and continuous improvement of Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and related clinical applications.
  • Implement data analytics and AI-driven reporting solutions to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Establish IT governance, service management standards, and performance monitoring to ensure high service reliability.
  • Manage large-scale projects, system implementations, and cross-functional technology initiatives.
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team across corporate and operational units.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Tech should have:

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory knowledge, and background managing scalable enterprise software and cybersecurity.
  • Significant experience leading enterprise technology operations within a complex business environment.
  • Demonstrated success managing large technology programs and organizational transformation initiatives.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and managing technology functions at a senior level.
  • Experience overseeing multiple technology disciplines, including infrastructure, applications, security, and project delivery.
