Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Own and drive full P&L performance for a significant business portfolio
  • Design and execute national sales strategies aligned with growth objectives
  • Lead, develop, and manage a team of 80-100 employees, including senior leaders
  • Build and expand strong relationships with strategic accounts across multiple sectors (from mining, pulp & paper, food & beverage, steel, etc)
  • Identify new growth opportunities across direct and channel sales models
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated technical and commercial solutions
  • Ensure strict adherence to compliance, governance, and ethical standards
  • Drive a high-performance culture with disciplined sales execution and forecasting

The Successful Applicant

  • Currently in a Director, General Manager, or Head of Sales role, or a high-potential successor (e.g., Deputy GM)
  • Typically in the mid-40s with a strong leadership track record
  • Proven P&L ownership (~USD 30-40 million), ideally from direct business operations
  • Strong exposure to industrial sectors including heavy industry, manufacturing, or downstream
  • Solid engineering-led background is essential (Chemical or Mechanical preferred)
  • Experience in chemical or process-driven industries is highly advantageous
  • Familiarity with automation/process solutions is a strong plus
  • Exposure to State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) such as Pertamina, PLN, Chandra Asri, or Pupuk Indonesia is advantageous
  • Engineering degree from reputable institutions
  • Strong commercial acumen and results orientation
  • High integrity and compliance mindset
  • Proven ability to lead large, complex organizations
  • Adaptable and culturally aligned with multinational environments
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
