Reporting to the Country General Manager, the Head of Operations will oversee all manufacturing and operational activities across the Indonesia facility. This role is responsible for production, planning, quality, warehouse, logistics, maintenance, and continuous improvement while ensuring customer requirements, operational efficiency, and business objectives are achieved.
  • Lead end-to-end operations for a key player in footwear manufacturing.
  • Drive plant performance with high visibility to regional leadership.

Job Description

  • Lead and oversee daily manufacturing and operational activities to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe plant performance.
  • Drive improvements in productivity, quality, cost efficiency, workplace organization, and overall operational effectiveness.
  • Partner closely with finance teams to review manufacturing costs, inventory accuracy, labor expenses, and operational spending performance.
  • Maintain optimum inventory levels and material flow to support customer demand while minimizing excess stock and working capital exposure.
  • Collaborate with production and planning teams to establish achievable schedules, resource allocation plans, and delivery commitments.
  • Monitor operational performance against objectives and implement corrective actions to address production or service challenges.
  • Facilitate cross-functional discussions and routine operational reviews to ensure alignment and timely problem resolution.
  • Develop, strengthen, and standardize operational processes, policies, and performance management practices across the facility.
  • Provide leadership across production, quality, maintenance, warehouse, and logistics functions to achieve business targets.
  • Build a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, customer focus, and operational excellence throughout the organization.

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of manufacturing operations leadership experience.
  • Experience leading a plant or large-scale production operation.
  • Footwear industry background strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, forecasting, and inventory management.
  • Experience driving productivity, quality, and cost improvement initiatives.
  • Familiar with ERP systems and manufacturing reporting tools.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Strong people leadership and stakeholder management capability.
  • High integrity, transparent leadership style, and strong work ethic.
  • Exposure to footwear components as well
