Job Description

As a Head of Operations, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee daily engineering and manufacturing activities to maintain consistent plant operations.
  • Plan production priorities and coordinate resources to meet agreed operational targets.
  • Monitor plant performance and address operational issues in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities to keep equipment available for production needs.
  • Review production output and operational data to identify practical improvements.
  • Manage site resources and operational costs in line with business requirements.
  • Work with relevant internal teams to align production plans with business demand.
  • Promote safe working practices across the manufacturing site.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Operations should have:

  • Practical capability in leading engineering and manufacturing operations.
  • Experience in managing plant activities, production priorities and operational resources.
  • Ability to review operational performance and act on production issues.
  • Knowledge of maintenance coordination within a plant environment.
  • Ability to manage operational plans and costs with clear attention to detail.
  • Confidence in working across teams to deliver production requirements.
