Job Description

  • Own and define the overall infrastructure strategy, including long-term architecture and platform evolution
  • Lead the design and operation of cloud infrastructure across compute, networking, and storage
  • Drive architectural decisions, capacity planning, and cost optimisation initiatives
  • Establish and maintain strong SRE practices, including monitoring, alerting, and incident management
  • Ensure high availability and low-latency performance for real-time systems
  • Embed security best practices into infrastructure, including IAM, secrets management, and network security
  • Develop and implement robust disaster recovery and failover strategies
  • Build, mentor, and scale Infrastructure, SRE, and Platform Engineering teams
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Compliance to align infrastructure with business and regulatory requirements

The Successful Applicant

  • 12+ years of experience in infrastructure, SRE, or platform engineering roles
  • Strong background in high-traffic, distributed systems and performance optimisation
  • Deep expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
  • Solid understanding of observability tools (metrics, logging, tracing)
  • Strong knowledge of security fundamentals (IAM, encryption, secure system design)
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing engineering teams
  • Strong decision-making ability balancing performance, reliability, security, and cost
  • Experience in fintech, trading systems, or crypto is highly advantageous
